Peacefully with family by her side, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Elodie Berard passed away in Notre Dame Hospital on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the age of 86 years.
Mom will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 67 years, Firmin; her five children, Norm (Paulette) Berard, Marcel (Judy) Berard, Bert (Linda) Berard, Liliane Berard and Gerald (Lori) Berard. Grandchildren, Real (Claire), Nadine (Gilbert) Gauthier, Lisa, Michelle (Brian) Sawatzky, Nicole, Derek (Melanie), Darryl (Jaimie), Kerrilyn, Roberta (Peter) Scott, Kristin (Boyd) Canart and Jason; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father Arthur, mother Virginie, brother Roger, sisters Leda, Dora, Clemence, Edna and Patsy.
Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Music and reflection at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with Father Léon Mubikayi and Father Armand Le Gal officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Notre Dame Hospital or Heart and Stroke foundation.
