Peacefully at her residence on Swan Lake First Nation with her family by her side, Evelyn Cameron passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

She leaves to mourn her daughters, Lorraine, Rhonda and Brenda, and son Warren; her numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father Charles Tanner, mother Adele Swain, brother Joe Tanner, sisters Edna and Georgaline, and her son Earl.

A Traditional Wake will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre at 4 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre, with the feast commencing at 12 p.m.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Swan Lake Health Centre and Rock Lake Hospital, SLFN Chief and Council, Amber Hill, Curtis Martin and the Manitoba Palliative Care Team.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
