(née Rudnicki)

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Joyce Rey on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 66 years. She was surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.

Florence was the beloved wife of Norman, mother of Krista (Rob) and Jonathan (Kelly), and grandmother of Carter and Marcus. She was predeceased by her parents Tony and Rose Rudnicki and her brother Rudy. She is survived by her brother Albert (Charlotte) Rudnicki and her in-laws, Dolorèse Rudnicki, Yvonne (Delmar) Marks, Lorraine Giesbrecht (Gilbert Goulet), Gisèle (René) Landreville and Lynne (Roland) Jacques as well numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Florence completed her education in Treherne, Manitoba and had a rewarding career at the Health Sciences Centre.  Her favourite pastimes were travelling, curling, gardening, hosting many social events in her home and spending wonderful times at Gull Lake. Florence was a fun-loving and caring person who loved people and people loved her back just as much. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 2:00p.m. at Adam’s Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Faurschou officiating.
