Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Friday, February 2, 2007, Mr. Gabriel Roch of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Clemence (nee Brouzes); their children: Sylvane, Jacqueline, Gaëtan (friend Jane), Nicole, Aline (Armand), Conrad (Karen), and Rachelle; 15 grandchildren: June, Guy, Misty, Rhéal (Carmelle), Alexandre (Micheline), Nina (Chris), Adrien (friend Amanda), Michelle, Joelle, Kelly (friend Melanie), Colin (Megan), Chantal (fiancé Kevin), Nicholas, Erik and Naomi; 13 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law: Denise Destoop, Madeleine Brouzes, Isabelle Roch, Blanche Roch and Ida Roch; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Gabriel was predeceased by one infant son Raoul; his parents Francois et Rosa Roch; and by three brothers: Marcel, Emmanuel and Meinrad.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Father Tomasz Jegierski officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
