Gerard “Jerry” DeGraeve

Jerry was born September 30, 1931 at Bruxelles, MB and passed away April 26, 2025 surrounded by his family at the Rock Lake Hospital at the age of 93 years.

He will be forever loved by his wife Irene (née Nerynck); his children, Diana Talbot (Gerard), Randy (Diane) DeGraeve, Barry “Smiley” DeGraeve (Susan), Michael DeGraeve and Lee DeGraeve; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Christopher), Nicole (Jeffery), Sabrina (Timothy), Jolene (Darcy), Christopher, Matthew, Cassandra (Brandon), Brendan (April), Kennedy, Payton (Dawson) and Merek; his great-grandchildren, Kylie, Morgan, McKenna, Bryce, Colby, Myles, Karah, Dane, Grace and Milah. He also leaves to mourn his sisters-in-law Claire DeGraeve, Yvonne Callum, and Alice Saunders and his brother-in-law Camille Nerynck, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Irene DeGraeve; his siblings, Gerarda Devos (Marcel Cleutinx), Laurette (George) VanCauwenberghe, Laurence DeGraeve; his parents-in-law, Leo and Rose Nerynck; his in-laws, George Devos, Duncan Callum, Lillian Nerynck, Simone (Ken) Bednarz and William Saunders.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at 1 p.m. The service will be live streamed at www.afh.ca
