Peacefully at the Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound, MB on Monday, May 19, 2014 Mrs. Germaine Almey of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 87 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing 5 children: Sharon (Danny) Rowley, Ken Almey, Reg (Kathy) Almey, Joyce (Jack) McMillan and Vicki (Cam) Plaisier; 12 grandchildren: Kevin Schamp, Bruce Schamp, Sherri (Ken) Voth, Ashley Rowley, Matthew (Joanne) Almey, Jacob Almey, Lindsey (Riley) McLaren, Marlee McMillan, Kelsey McMillan, Dillen Plaisier, Sydney Plaisier and Carson Plaisier; 8 great grandchildren: David Schamp, Maryanne Schamp, Morgan Voth, Jessica Voth, Matthew Voth, Jayden Voth, Hadley McLaren and Emily Almey. She also leaves to mourn her sister Annie De Baets, sister in law Gerarda Sierens as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Germaine was predeceased by Phil Almey, daughter Gail Schamp, brother Maurice De Grouwe and parents Mathilde and Alphonse De Grouwe.
Funeral Services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Family interment will take place at a later date.
