Gilbert Brunel
Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, Mr. Gilbert Brunel of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 85 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Germaine (née Lemaux); their two sons: Alex (Anna-Marie) and Raynald (Marilyn) Brunel; seven grandchildren: Tanya (Jeremy), Christine (Chris), Jeanette (Darcy), Melissa, Michelle (Scott), Kaylene (Justin), Joanne and seven great grandchildren: Xavier, Hunter, Semiah, Zacharie, Chloe, Kyle, Kellan. He also leaves to mourn two sisters: Anna Enquist, Colombe (Louis) Chabbert and one sister in law Lorette Hawes, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Gilbert was predeceased by three brothers: Alphonse (Marthe), Léon (Marie) and Roger (Flore) and one sister Mélina (Julien) Thorimbert.
Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by Family Interment in the St. Lupicin Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation and the St. Lupicin Cemetery.
