GORDON (GORDY) DUCHARME

Gordy passed away on October 14th at the age of 82 years.

Dad will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Noëlla, by his daughter Michele (Dale) Piper and grandsons Reid (Tatiana) and Bryce (Ivana); his son Paul (Monnette) and grandson Zac; and son Mark (Susan) and granddaughters Paryce and Thalia; his sisters Florette (John) Huston, Janet (Keven) Mohr, brother John (Joan), brother-in-law Leo Desilets, many nieces and nephews and his best friend Johnny Pagee.

Dad was predeceased by his parents Harry & Irene Ducharme, his brothers Roy (Colleen), Leo, Robert, André and sisters-in-law Jeanette (Glen) Ellis and Arla Desilets.

Gordy was born in St. Eustache Manitoba. He worked for the province of Manitoba Conservation district for 30 plus years.

Gordy married Noëlla in 1963 and together they raised 3 children in St. Eustache. Gordy loved fishing, hunting, camping and spent many years camping at the Big Whiteshell and Steeprock making wonderful memories with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Gordy loved working in his shop. Gordy was very proud of his children and grandchildren and ensured that he instilled lifelong lessons in their lives.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to all the staff at Portage District General Hospital.

A private service was held on Friday October 21, 2022.
