Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion on Sunday, July 19, 2009, Mrs. Henriette Swan of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 97 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters: Odette (Len) Wright of Ashville and Lucy Swan of Portage; three sons: Gerald Swan (Betty) of Grandview, Edgar Swan (Marion) of Dauphin and Lucien Swan of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; three sisters: Simone du Bourg, Augustine Dupasquier and Odette Pachette; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen in 1970; one son Emile at birth; two daughters Rose Swan in 1965 and Simone Chevrier in 2001(Clifford in 1997); and by two brothers and three sisters.
Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. Celebration of Life at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m., followed by Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Mgr Roger Bazin and Father Célestin Malengu Mubaya officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Pavilion, Box 400, St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0.
