Hélène Chammartin (nee Julien)
Peacefully at the Foyer Valade on Thursday February 6, 2003, Mrs. Hélène Chammartin of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 79 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing 6 children: Norbert (Alice) of La Salle, Rene (Marie-Reine), Laurent (Odile), Liliane (Norbert) Philippot, Gerald (Annette), Donald (Linda) all of Winnipeg, 11 grandchildren: Denny, Lisa (Brett), Danielle (Cory), Nicole (Jonathan), Julie, Christine, Lucie, Michelle, David, Bryan, Benjamin and two great-grandchildren: Renée and Dylan. She also leaves to mourn one sister Marie Tichit of Notre Dame de Lourdes. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1996, one son Lucien in 1953, 3 brothers: Baptiste, Privat, Emile and by 4 sisters: Virginie, Louise, Augustine and Antoinette.
Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Tuesday February 11th at 11 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday February 11, 2003 at 2 p.m. preceded by Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society, 10-120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the Foyer Valade for the excellent care given to mom during the past 6 years.
