Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 Mrs. Imelda Wood of La Riviere, Manitoba passed away at the age of 88 years.

She leaves to mourn her passing three children, Kimberly (Brian) MacDonald, Daren Wood (Colleen) and Terry Wood; two grandchildren, Brittany (Joe) and Karla (Brandon); two step-grandchildren, Stephanie (Devin) and Alicia (Matt); two great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Cameron; six step-great-grandchildren Seth, Kiera, Thomas, William, Ryleigh and Liam. She also leaves to mourn one sister Marie (Stephen); two brothers, Leopold (Miriam) Simoens and Maurice Simoens and by one sister-in-law Jessie Wood.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Wood in 2008; one daughter Kerry Wood in 1960; her parents, George Simoens and Gerarda (née DePape); two sisters, Evelyn (Gustave) Baltessen and Cecilia (Brian) Cornock.

Everyone is invited to attend a Memorial Luncheon and Celebration of Life for Imelda on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 12:00pm in the Bruxelles Community Hall.

Memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
