It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Irene Mary Wilson of Rathwell, MB, on April 24, 2018, at the Notre Dame Foyer at the age of 94 years.

Irene leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory her beloved children, Della, Janice, Clifford (Joan), Carol, Peter (Cindy), Herb (Pauline); grandchildren, Kim, Weldon (Janice), Perry (Dawn), Murray (Kammer), Donnie, Lynne, Mindy (Drew), Darrin (Mandy) and Susan (Brad); great-grandchildren, Kayla (Don), Kurtis (Kelsey), Derek (Marley), Bailey, Brooklyn, Justin, Krista, Kelsey, Holden, Sydney, Alexander, Jack, Cooper, Bishop, Emmett and David; great-great-grandchildren, Seth and Brenley; special family, Doug, Georgette, Lois, Wendy and Verna along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Irene was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Merle; siblings, Morris, Kenneth, Thelma and Edna; husbands, Murray Sinclair and Delbert Wilson; son Dennis Sinclair; and son-in-laws, Jim Wilson, Raymond Delf and Wilson Forbes.

Irene was born on March 25, 1924 in Rathwell where she spent the majority of her life, raising her 6 children on what will forever be known in the family as “Granny’s Farm”. She later moved into town where she enjoyed gardening, driving her scooter to play crib at the Green Prairie Lodge and sitting in her rocking chair on her front porch. Above all, she cherished the countless visits she had with family and friends. Granny truly was "Grandma" to everyone in Rathwell.

She spent the last year and a half of her life happily at the Notre Dame Foyer where she continued to enjoy the company of many visitors.

Funeral Service will held at the Rathwell Community Hall on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral luncheon.  Private family interment will take place prior to the service at the Woodlands Cemtery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stars Air Ambulance, Green Prairie Lodge or to the Rathwell Skating Rink.
