Jeanne Van Den Bosch
(nee Labossière)
Peacefully on May 8, 2015, God called Jeanne Van Den Bosch (nee Labossiere) home to the flower gardens of Heaven. Jeanne was born on August 5, 1935 near Somerset, Manitoba. She married Edward Van Den Bosch on October 20, 1962, their greatest joy in life arrived when their son Dale was born.
Jeanne spent the majority of her life as a cook at the Lorne Memorial Hospital and later at the Manor in Somerset. Jeanne’s green thumb was shown by her vast array of beautiful house plants that she cared for up to her last days. She loved socializing with people either by meeting at the local coffee shop or heading out for BINGO. In Jeanne’s quiet time she was able to create beautiful works of art through embroidery and knitting.
She was predeceased by her parents Alexis and Marie-Anne (née Parent) Labossiere, her husband Edward Van Den Bosch; brother Raymond Labossiere; brothers-in-law Louis Fouillen and Ian MacDougall.
Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son Dale Van Den Bosch; her siblings: Arthur (Rachel) Labossiere, Annette Fouillen, Edith MacDougall, Paul (Dianne) Labossiere, Lucielle Pelletier, Clemance (Marcel) Pouteau; Sisters-in-law: Yolande Labossiere; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame de la Nativité Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, Manitoba on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Memorial Service at 10:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery.
