It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jim Jenkinson on August 17, 2021 at his residence in Treherne at the age of 59 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his partner Daphne; his son Tyler; his mother Eleanore Jenkinson; his siblings, Suann (Robert) Laurent, Robert Jenkinson and Jeff (Jackie) Jenkinson; his nieces and nephews, Danica (Dustin) Beer, Devin Laurent, Ashley and Tanner Jenkinson. He also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his father John Jenkinson.

Jim was born January 24,1962 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was raised in Winnipeg until he moved to Treherne In 1971 with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 27, 2021 at Adam’s Funeral Home at 1 p.m.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, capacity is 50 people inside, which have been invited by the family. Everyone is welcome to attend and listen to the service on their radio in the Funeral Home parking lot on 88.5 FM.  The service will also be live-streamed.  The reception will be held at The Local Bar & Grill in Treherne, MB following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Humane Society of Manitoba.
