Joel and Magdalena Labossière

Tragically at their residence, Joel Labossière (age 34) and Magdalena (nee Leitgeb, age 33) passed away at Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday, April 20, 2008.

Joel leaves to mourn his beloved daughter Gabrielle Labossière; his son Jorden Labossière; his mother Rose-Marie Labossière; and numerous uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents Fernand and Rita Labossière.

Maggy leaves to mourn her beloved daughter Gabrielle Labossière; her parents Johann and Magdalena Leitgeb; three sisters:  Brigitte (Richard) Hamilton and their daughter Miriam, Christine (Erich) Lehner and their daughters:  Astrid, Anika and Katharina, Elisabeth Leitgeb; one brother Johann (Hayley) and their sons: Lucas and Oliver; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Joel grew up in St. Leon, Manitoba and attended school in St. Leon and Notre Dame de Lourdes. Maggy was born in Austria and was raised in the St. Francois Xavier area. Joel and Maggy were married July 7, 2001.  Together they raised their daughter Gaby who was their pride and joy.  They always enjoyed their holiday visits with Jorden.  Their family and friends will truly miss them.

Prayers will be held in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Father Mike Nwoso and Father Berry Schoonaert officiating. Interment to follow in the Elie Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gabrielle and Jorden Labossiere Trust Fund at the Steinback Credit Union, 2100 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB  R3Y 1X2.
