Peacefully at the St. Claude Health Centre on Friday, September 23, 2016, Mr. Joseph Ricard of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 91 years.
He leaves to mourn his 15 children, Simone (André) Lambert, Denise (André) Rémillard, Gisèle (Doug) Orton, Aurèle (Peggy), Olive Parrott, Mariette (Denis) Pinette, Gérald (Jill), Jacques (Gisèle), Michel (Margaret), Elliette (Ronald) Miller, Marcelle (Laurent) Boulet, Claude (Sherry), Chantal (Daniel) Labossière, Joël (Melinda) and Daniel (Fhem); 45 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. Also mourning are his brothers and sisters in law, Henri (Laurette) Lacroix, Garry Genaille, Georgette Atkins, Odile Bourrier and Marguerite (Henri) Dacquay as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Jos was predeceased by his wife Marie-Ange Ricard (née Lacroix) in 2014, two sons, Christian (October 1983) and Hubert (November 1993) and two infant sons (1954); his grandson Gregory Orton (May 1991); his brothers and sister: Marguerite Gobin, Raymond, René and Roland Ricard; two sisters in-law, Anita Ricard and Monique Genaille.
Funeral Service will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 3, 2016. Eulogy and Video Tribute at 1:30pm followed by Mass at 2 pm with Msgr Roger Bazin officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Claude Health Foundation, St. Claude Knights of Columbus or to the St. Claude Parish.
