Larry Van Den Bussche

March 18th, 1960 - May 22nd, 2023

With family by his side, Larry Van Den Bussche passed away peacefully at Brandon General Hospital on May 22, 2023, at the age of 63 years.

He leaves to mourn his children, Shane (Amanda) and Jessica (Tyler), his grandchildren Knox, Faber, Sawyer, Blair, and April. His siblings, Brian (Beverly), Rick, Theresa (Perry), Monique (Ron); his sister-in-law Terry; his nieces and nephews, Craig, Crystal (Brody), Courtney (Taylor), Corey, Cheyenne, Vanessa (Aaron), Sierra (Lucas), Phoenix, Miranda, Samantha, Madison and Joshua, as well as great-nephews, Curtis, Elliot, Tyson, Logan, Luca, and great-niece, Sophia.

Larry is predeceased by his parents Nestor and Betty Van Den Bussche and his brothers Dennis and Dan.

Larry enjoyed the simple things in life like good music, a cold beer, good company, and the peace and quiet of living in the country. He had an excellent ear for music and was able to name many songs within seconds of hearing them. His sense of humour helped him through many challenges. He was the kind of person who would offer the shirt off of his back - even if it was the last one he had. His nieces and nephews referred to him as "Buddy" and what a buddy he was, always keen for a visit to the farm or a phone call. His thoughtful nature and kind heart were gifts to those who knew and loved him. As hard as it is to lose him, we take solace in the family motto -"it's not goodbye - it's see you later".

A Celebration of Life will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at 2:00 PM with the interment taking place in the family cemetery in Holland.
