Laurent was born on March 9, 1936 in Holland, MB. He married Yvette Dionne on June 9, 1962. And together they raised their four children on their family farm in Bruxelles, MB. Together they owned and operated a dairy and grain farm until their sons took over in 1985. They then moved down the road where he was still actively involved with the farm. After Yvette’s passing in 1994 he moved to Holland. He continued to be involved with the farm spending countless hours driving his quad around making sure his boys were busy. During his retirement he filled his schedule with his grandchildren’s various hockey and baseball games. You could always find Laurent working in his garden tending to his vegetables and flowers. If you couldn’t find him there, you would always be able to find him in his corner upstairs at the Holland Rink. He will be missed by everyone.
