Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Sunday, May 6, 2012, Mrs. Laurianne de Rocquigny of Haywood, Manitoba passed away at the age of 89 years.
She leaves to mourn 14 children: Odile (Helmut) Buske, Thérèse Whapham, Joseph (Pierrette), Henriette (Norbert) Cenerini, Gerald (Michelle), Jean (Margaret), Robert (Denise), Hélène (Sandy) Del Rio, Noëllie (Guy) Jacques, Jacques (Evelyn), Hubert (Dale), Anna Johnston, Suzanne (Jean) Swennen and Pierre (Kathy); 43 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brothers and sisters: Olivier (Alice) Lambert, André (Delores) Lambert, Marianne Côté, Archille (Bernadette) Lambert, Raymond (Thérèse) Lambert, Rosaline (Allan) Williams and Émilien (Ellen) Lambert as well as sisters in law: Marie Bernard, Catherine de Rocquigny and Marie-Rose de Rocquigny, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Laurianne was predeceased by her husband Louis, son Albert, brother Jules, sister in law Cecile Lambert, brother in law Rosaire Côté, 2 sons in law Kerry Johnston and John Schneider.
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, MB on Friday, May 11, 2012. Recitation of the Rosary, Eulogy and Video Tribute at 1:15, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Armand Le Gal and Father Marcel Carrière officiating.
