Leandre Andre Joseph Durand October 19, 1934 - January 4, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Leandre at the age of 87 on January 4, 2022 at the Health Science Centre. Leandre is lovingly remembered by his daughter Micheline Williams; granddaughter Megan (Nick) and great-grandson Sid; daughter Aline Durand; daughter Odette Miller (Mike) and granddaughters Madeline and Isabelle.  Survived by brother Alain (Helene+), sisters-in law Aline and Deanna. Predeceased by parents Maxime and Marie Durand (née LeMoullec); by siblings Cécile (Raymond Pallard), Thérèse (Robert Fouasse), Paul (Aline), Hubert (Deanna), Gertrude (Jean Simoens) and Damien. He remained close with his nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his friends and neighbours past and present. A memorial service celebrating Leandre’s life was held on June 4, 2022 in Winnipeg at Coutu Funeral Chapel.

Interment will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba.
