After a short, courageous battle with cancer, Linda passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on Friday September 14, 2007 at the age of 47 years.
She leaves to mourn her loving husband James Barwick and two children: Jordan and Randi; her mother Yvette Chapellaz; two brothers: Roger (Marlene), Bob (Odette); one sister Doreen Jenkinson (Peter Boon); one sister-in-law Elaine Gaultier and one brother-in-law Jim Jenkinson. She also leaves to mourn James parents: Gordon H. Barwick and Vivian (nee Downey); his two brothers: Robert G. (Darlene) Barwick, Donald T.G. (Melody) Barwick; his sister Cathy (Darren) Coulthard; and numerous nieces and nephews relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Louis in 2002 and by one brother Donald Chapellaz in 1977.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Father Michael Wollbaum officiating. Interment in the St. Claude Parish Cemetery.
