Lori Mangin

Peacefully with her family by her side, Mrs. Lori Mangin of Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the age of 47 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 26 years Andre and their 4 sons: Anthony (Catherine), Devin (Amber), Tavis (Alex) and Matthew and her 2 grandchildren Carson and Zachary. Also left to mourn are her parents: John and Agnes Simoens, siblings: Kathleen (Darryl) Hillstrom, Teena (Mark) DeJaegher, Kelly (Tammy) Simoens and Vallene (Patrick) Weeks, mother-in-law Marie-Reine Mangin, brothers and sisters in-law: Eveline (Jerome) Mauws, Lorraine (Charles) Fouasse, Denis (Evelyn) Mangin, Lucille (Charles) Robert, Marcel (Denise) Mangin, Jeanne (Wayne) Gibson, Maurice (Kathy) Mangin and Paul (Jacqueline) Mangin as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, relatives and friends.
Lori was predeceased by her father-in-law Emile Mangin in 2009.
Lori was one of a kind. She always looked on the bright side, living life to the fullest. She would always stop and talk to anyone who would listen. Her family was always a big part of her life. She loved to sing, dance, fish, camp and play baseball. A special blessing in her life was becoming a “Ginny”. She treasured every moment of time with her grandchildren.
God our Father, walk through my house
and take away all my worries and illness
and please watch over and heal
my family in Jesus’ name. Amen
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 17, 2012. Eulogy and Music at 1:30 pm followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm with Father Paul Bisson and Father John McKenzie officiating. Interment in the St. Gerard Parish Cemetery. Audio and video will be set up at the Bruxelles Community Hall for overflow seating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lori’s memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Winnipeg Office 304, 1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
