Also left to mourn is her mother-in-law Ivy Peters, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lori was predeceased by her parents Arthur McKinney and Marina Scott, and by her brothers and sisters and in-laws: Debbie, Kelly, Raymond, Sherri, Greg, Kevin, Christopher, Jason and Laverne.

Lori was born in Swan Lake, MB, to Arthur McKinney and Marina Scott. She was the youngest daughter out of 13 children. Lori was a loving, caring person. She would welcome anyone in with open arms. The love Lori Dawn had for her family and friends was immense. She enjoyed listening to music, notably Bob Segar and the song "Tender Years" by John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band and John Fogerty. Lori would often wake her children up for school by playing her music loud with a cup of tea, while cooking breakfast. She was blessed with 10 children, and met the love of her life, Derrick Myran Sr., in 1994 and got married in 2001. Together they built a beautiful life with activities such as going to bingo, hunting and camping. Lori loved to work alongside her husband Derrick at his worksite building houses. Later on in life, Lori welcomed Zoey and Tianna with John Richard Jr. (John John†) who she loved dearly in the time they spent together. Lori will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but it brings us comfort knowing she's in safe hands with her mother and father.
