Peacefully at the Carman Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 27, 2017, Lucille Major of Carman, Manitoba passed away at the age of 64 years.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her beloved husband Lawrence Major; her son Patrick (Meghan) Major; two grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas; her mother Isabelle Oliviero (née Dion); six sisters, Simonne (Tony) Labossiere, Therese (Rodney) Crampton, Monique (Michel) Labossiere, Lorraine (Stewart) Eggie, Suzanne (Richard) Fay and Carole (Rodger) Field. She also leaves to mourn Larry’s family, his mother Frances Major (née Dawyduik); one brother Tony (Darlene) Major; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her son Paul in 1990; her father Charles Oliviero in 1981 and by her father-in-law Cecil Major in 1981.

Funeral services will be held in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba on Friday, December 1, 2017. Prayers and eulogy at 10:30 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 11 am with Father Solomon Arthur officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Haywood Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital Palliative Care, Box 610, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
