Marcel Bosc
Wonderfully cared for at the Brummitt-Feasby ALS House, Marcel passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Marcel Bosc of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 44 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Evelyne and children Natasha and Mathieu. Left to mourn are his cherished parents Marcien and Cecile, his sister Evelyne (Philippe) and his brothers Jacques (Susan), Normand (Gisele), Raymond (Gisele), Guy (Denise), Alain, Bernard (Claudette), David (Lynne). His mother-in-law Therese Jacques, his brothers-in-law Guy (Noellie), Gilbert (Denise), Claude (Gina); his sister-in law Monique (Bruce) and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends will miss his presence. Marcel was predeceased by his father-in-law Alphonse Jacques and by one nephew Paul Lessard.
Marcel was an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for Government Air Services for the past 10 years. The forest fire season kept him busy working long hours and away from home. But in the winter, he enjoyed taking a few months off to get involved in his community and to spend more time with his family. Marcel was a good role model. He was a reliable and committed person. He put great efforts towards his volunteer work as a fireman for the St. Claude Fire Department and enjoyed being a part of the team. He would also spend many hours at the arena. Marcel always made time to help wherever it was needed. He enjoyed playing hockey and going for coffee or lunch at the local restaurants. Despite his busy schedule, Marcel always managed his time well to be able to enjoy his family. He created a lot of rituals which his children always looked forward to. Many things he did for his family was with great love and care.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Janice-Richman-Eisenstat for her prompt and thorough care, Diana Rasmussen and the staff at the Brummit-Feasby House. It was a comfort to have been surrounded by such good care during Marcel's final stages of his disease and the family is most grateful.
With respect for Marcel's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration in Marcel's memory will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Video Tribute at 1:45, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carriere officiating.
