Peacefully at the Centre de Santé Notre-Dame on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, Mr. Marcel Charrière of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 91 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Lillian (née Deleurme); his children, Ronald Major, Cheryl-Lynne (Gérard) Delaquis, Denis (Corrine) Charrière, Claudine Charrière (Daniel Delaquis) and Marina Charrière (Daniel Devloo); his grandchildren, Marc (Rae-Ann), Alyssa, Katrina, Nick, Lee, Jenesse, Ashlyn, Sylvia (Brannon), Sheldon and Sylvain; his great-grandchildren, Layne, Tory and Emmy. He also leaves to mourn his passing his in-laws, Thérèse Charrière, Irène Deleurme, Robert (Annette) Deleurme, Georgette Delaquis and Odette Poitras; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Pierre and Cécile Charrière; his siblings, Solange (Jacques) Ayotte, Fernand Charrière and Antoine Charrière; and his brothers-in-law, Bruno Delaquis, Roger Deleurme and Pete Poitras.

Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 5, 2018.  Prayers, eulogy and video tribute at 1:15 pm followed by Funeral Mass at 2 pm with Father Alain Guenou officiating.  Lunch will be held immediately after Mass and a family interment will take place at the Parish Cemetery at a later time.
