Marcel Victor Grenier
1946-2014
Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Monday, March 24, 2014, Mr. Marcel Grenier of St. Boniface, Manitoba passed away at the age of 67 years.
He is survived by his two children; four grandchildren; five brothers: Alexandre (Irène), Gérald (Jeanne), Ronald, Émile (Monique) and Guy (Lise); three sisters: Anita (Hubert) Desrochers, Jacqueline Grenier and Nicole (Mark) Lebeau as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Marcel was predeceased by his parents Lucien and Novia Grenier (née Moreau), sister Norma and brother Denis.
As a young adult, Marcel moved to St. Boniface and became a barber. Later he became involved in the retail business, working for various companies before he became manager of the Co-op store in Lorette where he stayed until it closed. His greatest love in life was delivering Sprinter recreational vans across Canada and the U.S.A. until he was no longer able to.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. in the St. Léon Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
