Marcel Jules Thevenot

Peacefully at the Boundary Trails Hospital on Saturday April 18, 2020, Mr. Marcel Thevenot of Roland, Manitoba passed away at the age of 82 years and 9 months.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Laurette (nee Vermiere); three children, George (Cherryl), Mike (Cindy) and Bob (Helen); six grandchildren, Doug (Robyn), Christine (Bryan), Cody, Joey, Samantha and Tiffany; four great-grandchildren, Ava, Elijah, Greyson and Kaleb; his brothers and sisters, Leo (Donna), Donald (Louise), Dolores (Bob) VanCauwenberghe, Lina (Grant) Gates, Vivian (Joe) McCombe; one brother-in-law Robert Vermiere; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Marcel was predeceased by his parents Louis and Anna; four siblings, Yvette (Aristide) Lafreniere, Edouard Thevenot, Rose-Marie (Robert) Laurence, Thérèse Thevenot and his sister-in-law Noella Thevenot.

Marcel was very fortunate to share a special bond with his brother Donald. Not only as brother, Donald was a true friend and confidant. He kept his role as “the best man” until the very end.

With respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service at Adam’s Funeral Home Chapel will be held at a later date.
