Peacefully at the Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne, Manitoba on Monday, April 28, 2014, Mrs. Marie-Ange Ricard of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 83 years.

She leaves to mourn her husband of 65 years Joseph Ricard; 15 children, Simone (André) Lambert, Denise (André) Remillard, Gisèle (Doug) Orton, Aurèle (Peggy), Olive Parrott, Mariette (Denis) Pinette, Gérald (Jill), Jacques (Gisèle), Michel (Margaret), Elliette (Ronald) Miller, Marcelle (Laurent) Boulet, Claude (Sherry), Chantal (Daniel) Labossière, Joël (Melinda) and Daniel (Fem); 44 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Also mourning are her three sisters, Georgette Atkins, Odile Bourrier and Marguerite (Henri) Dacquay, brother Henri (Laurette) Lacroix and brothers-in-law Garry Genaille and Roland Ricard.

She was predeceased by her two sons, Christian (October 1983) and Hubert (November 1993) and two infant sons (1954); her grandson Gregory Orton (May 1991); parents, Angeline (May 1984) and Georges Lacroix (June 1984); two sisters, Anita Ricard (April 2004) and Monique Genaille (December 2004); her mother in-law (1954), father in-law (1988), four brothers in-law and a sister in-law.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Armand Le Gal and Msgr Roger Bazin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
