It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Marie-Rose Dedieu of St. Claude, MB at the age of 70 years.
With family by her side, Marie-Rose passed away peacefully in Notre Dame de Lourdes on Saturday, June 26, 2010 after a lengthy struggle with cancer.
Born in St. Claude on August 6, 1939, she worked for many years at the St. Claude Hospital. She enjoyed her time at home with her mother and pet cat (Boots), she loved to cook and care for her flower garden.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother Léa Minaudier of St. Claude, siblings, Alice of Regina, Raymond (Marie) of St. Claude, René (Irène) of St. Claude, Yvonne (Henri) Labossière of Virden and Janine (Curt) Tesarski of Portage la Prairie. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Marie-Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Ti-Jean Dedieu in 1988, her father Jean Minaudier in 1967 and her brother Georges Minaudier in 1986.
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.
