Marie-Rose Major

Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2012, Mrs. Marie-Rose Major of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 71 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Dolores (Ken) Buchanan of Oakville and Suzanne (Wayne) Dubois of St. Claude; three sons: David (Connie) of Carman, Normand of Winnipeg and Guy of Carman; 11 grandchildren: Sherri-Dawn, William, James (Victoria), Lindsay (Troy), Courtney (Justin), Brett (Kayla), Aaron, Chandler, Mercedes, Madison and Logan; and three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Avery and Rylee. She also leaves to mourn two brothers, Auguste (Therese) and Robert (Pauline); two sisters, Angele Mazurat and Alice (Roland) Dondo; one sister-in-law Lilliane (Marcel) Charriere; and two brothers-in-law Laurie Major and Willis Gingrich as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Marie Rose was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1994, and by two sons, Pierre in 1965 and Denis in 1998.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Father Belanger officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
