With great sadness the family of Marlin Gray announce his sudden passing at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the age of 36 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Melanie Gray (nee McKinney); four children: Ali-Cat, Bob, Noah and Melody; his father David Gray Sr.; his mother-in-law Mary Walker; siblings: Jeanie, Sandra (Norma), David and Ryan; numerous uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Also left to mourn his passing are his bros: Tony McKinney, Paul Cameron, Jason Ranville, Brent Cameron, Donny Stevenson, Garrette Courchene, Leo McGinnis and Jason Taylor.
He was predeceased by his mother Josephine McKay; his father-in-law Bob McKinney; his adopted father Roy McKinney; his bros: Ron Gordy McKinney Sr. and Joseph Thomas Martin; his grandparents John and Cecile Moar and Jim and Jean Gray; one aunt Margaret Murdoch; and by one great aunt Isabelle Norquay.
A Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Sunday, June 24, 2012 commencing with the Feast at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ryan Sabiston, Kirk MacDonald, Tony McKinney, Jason Ranville, Paul Cameron and Brent Cameron.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bob Gray, Noah Gray, Blair Gray, Samuel Panko, Damien Tukundum, Darren Pierre, Barry Peters, Frank Moose and all family and friends present.
