Peacefully at Notre Dame Foyer on Friday, August 24, 2012 Mrs. Marthe Grenier of St. Leon, Manitoba passed away at the age of 89 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her seven children: Norbert (Angèle), Gisèle ( Mark), Solange (Wilfrid), Jean (Jeannette), Roselyne (Warren), Lucie (Roy) and Florent (Linda), 17 grandchildren: Allen (Nettie), Lorraine (Armand), Norman, Marc (Yvonne), Louise (Brent), Pauline (Kelly), Wilfrid, Richard (Lyn), Méo, Daniel, Robin, Crystal, Michael, Jérémie, André (Brittany), Nicolas, Natasha, 20 great grandchildren: Joe, Robert, Christopher, Christine, Kurtis, Sean, Amanda, Declan, Kieran, Ronan, Leigh, Jessica, Ivy, Jaden, Brielle, Manon, Megean, Christina, Rylan and Dawson and two great great grandchildren Alexa and Aliyah. She also leaves to mourn one brother in law Victor Grenier and three sisters in law, Eva Labossiere, Cecile Labossiere and Flore Labossiere, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Marthe was predeceased by her husband Laurent, three daughters Colombe De Vuyst, Pauline Grenier and Paulette Grenier, two sons-in-law Dan Deigard and Edgar De Vuyst, and by her parents Theobald and Marie Labossiere.
Funeral Mass will be held in the St. Leon Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Viewing and Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30, followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Foyer Notre Dame.
