Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion on Saturday, July 9, 2011 Mrs. Mollie Jackson of St. Claude, MB passed away at the age of 97 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing seven children: Philip (Lucille) of St. Claude, Don (Bonnie) of Sudbury, Ray (Iris) of Lethbridge, Norman (Albina) of Medicine Hat, Richard (Janice) of Whitehorse, David (Sonia) of Calgary and Shirley (Thomas) of Winnipeg; two sons-in-law: Lionel Simpson and Don McRae; numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, and three great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roblin (Jiggs) in 1991; two children: Nancy McRae in 2001 and Sandra Simpson in 2008; and by one great-grandchild Daniel Gunn-Jackson in 1993.
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Church on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. with special music and a eulogy prior to the service. Interment to follow in the St. Claude Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Health Centre, Box 400, St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0 or to a charity of choice.
