Myles Patrick Mabon
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Myles, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the age of 26 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Gilbert and Laurie (née Michalchuk), sister Rachelle (Riley), grandparents, Georges and Jeanne Mabon of Somerset, Leonard and Lesia Michalchuk of Winnipeg, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Myles was born in Altamont, MB and moved to Somerset with his parents and sister in 1991. He graduated from Somerset Collegiate in 2006. During high school he worked at the Crossroads convenience store and loved speaking with the customers.
He received his Diploma in Business Administration from Red River College in 2008 and his BBA in Accounting from the University of Winnipeg in 2013. Since the fall of 2013, Myles was employed at the Booke and Partners accounting firm in Winnipeg and was working towards obtaining his C.P.A. Myles was athletic and was terrific at track and field, baseball, golf, and hockey. He was a beautiful guitar player. He loved traveling, socializing with his friends, and spending time with his family. He was particular about his clothes and was sure to iron his shirts.
Myles was a quiet, thoughtful young man with a beautiful smile and a great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed.
Good-bye Milou, we love you.
