Dad, I cannot believe you are gone; I am so grateful that I got to spend time with you over Christmas. Our last days together will be stuck in my memory forever.
I will miss all the fun times we had going to the hockey games, watching sports on TV, playing baseball and golf together, not to mention the heated card games neither of us like to lose.
In a lot of ways I am a lot like you and see a lot of you in me. We are both competitive, easy to get along with and are laid back.
Our most fondest memories and the times we are most joyful is when there is great food and family members to enjoy it with; which made our last encounter all the more special.
Your whole family will surely miss and adore the times we shared. Love you Dad, and God Bless.
