Peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, Mrs. Orise Boulet of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 83 years.

Orise leaves to mourn her loving husband of 63 years, Ovila; her children, Janet (Bob), Arnold (Lucille), Joanne (Hubert), Debbie (Rhéal) and Alain Boulet; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Lorraine (Maurice) Gatin; one brother-in-law Cliff Wiebe; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Orise was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Berthe Trottier; and by two sisters, Fleurette Capon and Dorothy Wiebe.

Orise was born on the family farm near Glenora on December 2, 1929. She attended Marringhurst School School near Glenora and later attended high school in Baldur. In 1950, she married Ovila Boulet and together they raised five children. She was very active on the farm and enjoyed gardening, flowers and cooking for her family. They retired to Mariapolis in 1983 and moved to St. Leon then to Somerset. Mom worked at the Pouteau Foods in Mariapolis for 10 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame de la Nativité Catholic Church in Somerset, MB on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Somerset Parish Cemetery.
