Paul G. Thevenot

Peacefully at the Swan Valley Health Centre in Swan River, Manitoba, Mr. Paul G. Thevenot passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Ruth (née Henderson); his children David (Michelle) Thevenot, Julie Ann (James) Purcha, John (Kristine) Thevenot, Louise (Neal) Watkins and son in-law Léo (Gaylene) Allec; his grandchildren, Courtney (Ian), Nicholas (Shiva), Matthew, Benjamin (Kaitlyn), Chad (Amanda), Eric (Charity), Tyler (Britney), Katrina, Brent, Shelby (Alain), Cole (Darien), and Carter.  He also leaves to mourn his siblings and in-laws, Adrien Thevenot, Maurice (Ilene) Thevenot, Roméo (Ellen) Thevenot, Sr. Juliette Thevenot sgm, Cécile Grenier, Bishop Albert Thevenot M. Afr., Eva Dansereau, Noëline C. Thevenot, Shirley Thevenot, Mary Thevenot, Ken Henderson, George (Lorette) Henderson.  His great-grandchildren Beckett, Paul, Liam, Nora, Sara, Tucker, Ava, and Addison.

Paul is predeceased by his parents Paul F. and Yvonne Thevenot, his parents-in-law Elmer and Ida Henderson; daughter, Theresa Thevenot-Allec; his siblings and in-laws, Raymond Thevenot, Yvonne (Nelson) Lemieux, Roger Thevenot, Jérome Thevenot, Doreen Thevenot, Pauline Thevenot, Antoine Grenier, Hervé Dansereau and Christine Henderson.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Notre Dame de la Nativité Church in Somerset, Manitoba at 11 a.m. with Bishop Albert Thevenot officiating. Please note that the Somerset Parish is a scent-free zone.

A Memorial Service in honour of Paul will be held at St. Columba’s Catholic Church in Swan River, Manitoba on Monday, September 19, 2022 @ 1:30pm with tea and Coffee to follow.
