Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Thursday, September 22, 2011, Mrs. Philomène Chaperon of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 87 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing three children: François Chaperon of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Elise (Clement) Talbot of Logan Lake, B.C. and Rolly (Simone) Chaperon of St. Claude; one son-in-law Lionel Leduc of St. Claude; seven grandchildren: Micheline (Ryan), Ginette, Cathy (James), Denis, Chris (Gilles), Marcel (Holly) and Raymond; eight great-grandchildren: Taylor, Dawson, Gabrielle, Janelle, Natasha, Breanne, Chelsey and Autumn; three brothers: Maurice (Florence), Noel and Arthur; four sisters: Bernadette Syganiec, Marguerite Painchaud, Alice (Camille) Bernard and Rose (Lucien) Vailliant; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Gustave in 1980; two sons Jules in 2003 and Joseph in 2007; one daughter Lorraine Leduc and one granddaughter Chantal in 2000.
Funeral Services will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Prayers at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating.
