Pierre Delaquis
Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Saturday, February 9, 2013, Mr. Pierre Delaquis of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by 8 children, Claudette (Norbert) Bérard, Joseph (Lucienne), Gisèle Delaquis, Jacques (Priscille), Martin Delaquis, Huguette (Don) Van DenBussche, Lucille (Denis) Hague and Rosanne (Guy) Labossiere; one son-in-law Zamid Khan; 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He also leaves to mourn three brothers, Dr. Roger (Marie), Guy (Evelyne) and Msgr Noël; one brother-in-law Donat Lesage and one sister-in-law Renée Delaquis as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Thérèse (née Lesage) in 1998; one daughter Charlotte Khan in 2002; one grandson Martin Lacroix in 2001; two brothers, Dr. Hubert (Marie-Jeanne) and Raymond; and by three sisters Madeleine (Henri) Vuignier, Cécile and Denise Lesage.
Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Msgr Noël Delaquis, Father Léon Mubikayi and Father Armand Le Gal officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
