Rachel Hébert (née Désaulniers)

Peacefully at the Bethesda Regional Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Mrs. Rachel Hébert of St. Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba passed away at the age of 86 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Aurèle; her children, Nicole Payette, Colette (Bob) Beernaerts, Joanne Kilmury (Bill Paziuk), Martial (Donna) Hébert, Mimi (Joe) Sierens, Richard (Lorie) Hébert, Robert (Carrie) Hébert and Micheline (Alex) Lafrenière; her grandchildren, Eric (Pam), Bruno (Leslie), Jérome (Melissa), Carmelle (Curtis), Shannon (Donavin), Ian (Angela), Philip (Jennafer), Patrick (Jaqi), Michel, Janine, Maxine (Robert), Jolene (Brett), Kyle (Catherine), Krista (Jason), Adim, Brad, Alex (Amber), Deni (Amy), Devin (Amanda), Guillaume (Brianna) and Gabrielle; her great-grandchildren, Brielle, Luc, Posie, Easton, Emerson, Haedyn, Rowan, Farrah, Delaney, Eva, Connor, Parker, Emily, Kate, Addison, Élodie, Samuel, Beau, Blye, Scout and Rue. She also leaves to mourn her passing her adopted sisters, Suzanne Maynard and Annette Douglas; her in-laws Helen Désaulniers, Simone Hébert, Denise Cahill, Annette (Harold) Hedspeth and René (Lorraine) Hébert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Roméo Désaulniers and Léonie (née Neveux); her granddaughter Patricia Kilmury and great-grandchild Kit Payette; her siblings,  adopted brother Philippe Désaulniers, sons-in-law Cliff Kilmury and Gérald Payette.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Pierre-Jolys Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2 pm.  Private family interment will take place after Mass at the St. Pierre-Jolys Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
