Rev. Elias Waldner

Rev. Elias Waldner of Evergreen Colony, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026 at the age of 88 years.

He will be forever loved by his wife of 64 years, Sarah (née Wollmann); his children, Sally (Ken) Maendel, Elie (Susan) Waldner, Paul (Lorena) Waldner, Joseph (Margaret) Waldner, Josie (Rev. Cornie) Hofer, Christina (Michael) Hofer, Rev. Marvin (Sarah) Waldner; his 37 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his brothers, Josh (Mary) Waldner and Hardy (Esther) Waldner; his sisters Margaret Waldner and Susie Waldner and his sisters-in-law Maria Waldner, Sarah Waldner and Susie Waldner, as well as numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Julianna Waldner; his granddaughter Jodi Hofer; his parents George and Maria Waldner; his parents-in-law Paul and Sarah Wollmann; his brothers, George Waldner, Rev. Joe Waldner, Paul (Mary) Waldner and Mike Waldner, his sister Maria Wollmann, and sister-in-law Marian Wollmann.

Wake will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. at Evergreen Colony. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Colony.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
