Reynald Gauthier
“Millet King”
Reynald Gauthier, a.k.a Millet King, passed away on March 30, 2025 at his residence in Holland, Manitoba at the age of 58 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Léo and Hermine Gauthier.
Reynald's life was a blend of hard work, passion and commitment to farming. He thrived and loved being part of the farming community. He farmed in St.Claude. Reynald was also proud of the products he developed for retail sales, especially if it was from his favourite millet crop.
Reynald made lasting relationships with many people he met in his life, from when he grew up in school in St. Claude, UofM, farming, colleagues, clients and owners / staff where he was a frequent customer.
He would go the extra mile to visit and nurture these relationships that made him feel special, connected and even more motivated to achieve his ambitions. Reynald was optimistic, inquisitive, full of joy followed by a contagious laugh that brought out his genuine big caring heart and friendly personality
Reynald leaves to mourn his passing those who where close to him.
A service to honour Reynald’s life will be held on April 26, 2025, at the St. Claude Catholic Church. Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 am followed by Mass. The service will be Live Streamed at www.afh.ca
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
