Richard Van De Kerckhove
Peacefully at the Swan Lake Hospital on Saturday, August 29, 2009, Mr. Richard Van De Kerckhove of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away at the age of 83 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 62 years Alice (nee Baete); four daughters: Joyce (Raymond Buydens), Lucille Hilhorst, Marianne (Ron Matthys) and Gayle (Barry Loewen); four sons: Ron (Germaine), Denis (Jan), Ken (Pat) and Rick (Carolyn); 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and three brothers: Ceasar, Oscar (Marie) and George (Doreen). He was predeceased by his brother Lorne, one sister-in-law Imelda (nee Timmerman) and by one grandson Jeremy Loewen.
He also leaves to mourn Alice’s family. Her two sisters: Rose Van De Kerckhove and Marie-Ange (Felix Godard); two brothers: Joe (Marguerite) Baete and Lucien Baete; one sister-in-law Annie Baete and one brother-in-law Roger Lebeau. He was also predeceased by Madeleine and Leon Fifi, Angele Lebeau, Marcel Baete, Germaine and Marcel Haegeman and Lorette Baete.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Family interment to follow in the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery with Father John Te Nguyen officiating.
