Robert Labossiere

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Labossiere on March 17, 2026 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 82 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Irène (née Vandel); his sons Michel Labossiere and Daniel (Tanya) Labossiere; his grandchildren, Colin, Kelby, Braileen and CJ, and his great-grandson Emmett. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Antonio (Simone) Labossière and Monique (Kenneth) Newman; his in-laws, Odile Lambert, Roger Vandel, Denise Anderchek, Gerald (Barbara) Vandel and Marilyn Vandel (Alex Kizuik), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste and Joséphine Labossiere, his parents-in-law Ernest and Gisèle Vandel, his sister Odette (Gustave) Philippe, his brothers Noël Labossière and Guy Labossière; and his brothers-in-law David Lambert and Mike Anderchek.

Funeral Service will be held at the St. Denis Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Recitation of the Rosary and Eulogy will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 1:00 p.m.
