Romain Joseph Bazin

Peacefully at his residence on Saturday April 26, 2003, Mr. Romain Bazin of Haywood, Manitoba passed away at the age of 86 years.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Gabrielle (née Chapellaz), 7 children:  Odile (Marcel Marin) of Haywood, Thérèse Sibilleau of Winnipeg, Léo (Jacqueline) of St. Claude, Denise (Denis Danais) of St. Claude, Cécile (Albert Furet) of St. Claude, Marial (Shirley) of Iles des Chênes, Eugène (Yvonne) of Haywood, 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves to mourn his passing one brother Clément Bazin, 2 sisters-in-law Cécile Lambert and Yvette Chapellaz, and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Eugène and Marie Louise (née Gautron), 3 brothers:  Paul, Lucien and Albert, one sister Marguerite Lévesque, in-laws:  Omer Lévesque, Noé Lambert, Elise Bazin and Louis Chapellaz , and by one son-in-law Paul-Emile Sibilleau.

Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Wednesday April 30, at 8 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba on Thursday May 1, at 10:30 a.m. preceded by Recitation of the Rosary at 10 a.m.  Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
