Peacefully at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Ron passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by his daughter Lacey Goetz, his son Dakota Gervais and their mother Lise Auclaire, granddaughter Layla Roberts and his siblings, Brent, Brian, Penny, Kim, Ralph, Mario as well as numerous friends.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Olga Popplestone.

Ron was a caring friend who loved fishing, bowling, watching sports, quadding and mowing grass. Ron was the life of the party and being surrounded by his friends was his life. Ron lived everyday like it was his last with a smile always on his face. May he rest in peace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at The Tea-Spot 33-4th Street in Swan Lake, Manitoba. Interment will take place in the Wood Bay Cemetery. A silver collection will take place at the service to help for the purchase of a monument.
