Rose Chapman (née Viallet)

Peacefully with her family by her side, Rose Marie Chapman of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away on July 12, 2018 at the Notre Dame Health Centre at the age of 66 years.

She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Aimée Chapman of High Bluff, Manitoba and son James Chapman and granddaughter Olivia of Niverville, Manitoba. She also leaves to mourn her siblings Thérèse (Auguste), Cecile, Louis (Suzanne), Germaine, Daniel (Jean), Michel (Lorraine), Annette, Robert, Hubert (Lilianne), Nicole (Gerald); her in-laws Muriel (Fraser) McIntosh and Bob (Jill) Chapman, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Don, her parents Henri and Solange (née Rouire) Viallet, her parents-in-law Bill and Mabel Chapman, her brother Joseph Viallet, her brother-in-law Leon Duval, and by sisters-in-law Gisèle Vuignier,  Gisèle Desrochers and Cheryl Chapman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on July 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Health Foundation, Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the CancerCare Manitoba.
