It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Solange Ricard, on April 11, 2025 at Misericordia Health Centre- Respite Care at the age of 77 years

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, George, her children Patricia (Robert) Charriere and Daniel (Dominque) Ricard; her grandchildren, Janelle, Bryanne (Delwin), Danica (Ryan), Nicholas (Heidi), Eric (Rachelle), Dylan (Jenny) and Micah (Allanah).  She also leaves to mourn her siblings and in-laws, Raymond (Elaine) Desrochers, Daniel (Donna), Desrochers, Roger Levreault, Gilberte Desrochers, Robert (Laurie) Desrochers, Lucie (Robert) Toupin, Marcel Desrochers, Eva (James) Henderson, Gilles Desrochers, Gerald (Patricia) Desrochers, Edgar (Judy) Desrochers, Albert Lussier, George Desrochers, Marie-Ange Ricard, Henri (Carole) Ricard, Rene (Marjorie) Ricard, Antoine (Bernice) Ricard and Antoinette (Eddie) DeVlieger, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Solange was predeceased by her father Gilbert Desrochers and her mother Lucille (James) Bridgewater; her sister Murielle Levreault, her brothers Rheal Desrochers and Roger Desrochers, her sisters-in-law, Katherine Desrochers, Eva Lussier, Julie Desrochers and brothers-in-law Arthur Ricard, Leo Ricard and Leon Ricard.

A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Martyr Canadien Parish, 289 Dussault Ave, on Monday April 21, 2025. Eulogy and Video will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m.  The service will be Live Streamed at www.afh.ca

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba .
