Christmas is a time for memories and remembering.

Loss of our loved ones, unemployment, illnesses, and global turmoil

are only a few of the things that can cause us pain and sorrow. As we enter the season of Christmas; for many the

“happy” season can be a time of weariness and sorrow. It’s important to remember to take the time to

acknowledge, sit with, and process our sadness,

concerns and receive words of HOPE that can

speak to us in the midst of sorrow. We invite you to the special time of year where we

acknowledge “BLUE CHRISTMAS”... a time to hear and share

prayers, scripture readings and hymns to help us know that

God’s presence is for those who mourn.
